Converting Music Into Motion, Part 1
Every year around the holidays mcgarrybowen LABS comes up with a fun and unexpected way to spread holiday cheer throughout the office. Last year we staged a snowball fight between our New York and Chicago offices. This year, we were inspired by holiday caroling and karaoke and created “mcgarrybowenoke.” The idea is simple: you pick a song, and we’ll sing it to you. In building the mcgarrybowenoke singing holiday card, we faced the challenge of creating a lightweight, interactive, and shareable site that would play consistently across many browsers, filled with over 200+ photos of mcgarrybowen employees and a large number of audio files.
